During the summer months in the UK, mainly July, August and September the wind is some of the most consistent in the world with over 85% of the days being kitesurfable.

Great place to go is to The Kitesurf Centre who operate at Camber in the South East of the UK. They hire out equipment  for only £60 a day or £20 an hour so you dont have to worry about bringing your own equipment. There is a also a shop in the centre with loads of equipment to demo so you can try before you buy.
As well as a shop and equipment hire they also offer kitesurfing lessons from beginner courses to advanced coaching days with pro riders.

Sounds good!

Another great place to visit in the UK is Troon in West Central Scotland - 40 mins from Glasgow. There is a real Kitesurfing scene in Troon. There are 2 good beaches about 1/2 mile apart. There is a great kite school on the main beach at Troon called Scotlandkiteboarding. They do lessons and also rent equipment,  they rented me a full rig for £50 for 3hrs.

If you visit Troon I’m sure you'll have a top time, Scotland is well known for its consistent wind so you're guaranteed to get in some great surfin.

Hope this helps.
