hi! we plan on visiting the Paramali beach in Cyprus this month. is it an ideal spot for kite surfing? what is the average wind speed and direction? what size of kite do you recommend?

well, Paramali is a spot that is best suited for freestyle kite surfing.. what do you have anyway? hybrid? c-shape? or bow? i suggest that you bring at least 2 kites with you: one for the strong wind and another for the average. good place, it is! though i have to warn you that Paramali Cyprus is very crowded on weekends!

i definitely recommend Cyprus as a kite surfing area! there's no doubt that the sandy beaches and reliable winds will satisfy your love for the sport. i've been there once, and i am absolutely going back once i have the budget! go on, cross the beaches of the Paramali! Enjoy!!

Nice! thank you for all those info.. at least i now have a knowledge about the area before i even get there. i've been reading about it in google too. but it's better to hear the experiences of those who have gone already gone to Parami before. i'll take pictures. and try to go to as many spots as i can during our stay there..
