My friends and I are planning to go to Hawaii soon. We'd like to kitesurf there and i'd like to know which island or beach is the best place to be when doing the sport? To be honest, we're still in a non-professional stage, still having problems in fighting with the winds. Hehe so where is it with no too tough winds and huge waves? What are your thoughts? THANKS.

I already went surfing in Kauai & Maui. Oh well, i prefer the latter! The wind is strong and the water is a dense, keeping swimmers away, making it a much ideal place for kitesurfing. Plus, there are great places to reside in and many other activities to do like snorkling, etc..

Kauai is also good. Romantic & pretty spot, really! Less wind and great waves though!
