can an impact vest float? i am planning to get one soon. i have tried wearing waist harness and life jackets but they are only blocking my view. why does it happen? any recommendation? thanks!

i once broke my ribs when i flat landed from a high jump. dats when i switched to an impact vest with a lesser floatation, & its made to diffuse water upon ur impact. mine's brand is Mystic, it's a lycra vest.

yes, they (mostly) provide flotation, but not recognized as life saver. i wear a sport PDF, try that out, it's nice to have it esp during times when u badly need to save yourself.. i got one from speedo. works Ggreat. i decided to switch to it since impact vest really caused me a full body ache before wen i landed flat on my back and side..
