whenever i get a new board, i say to myself that i wil take care of it..BUT then, after several surfings, the boards get scratches at the bottom part..it does not affect my performance and my love for the sport at all. it's just that...does it happen tou you guys too? or do i really have some sort of bad luck with those rocks along the shore? or is there any protection i could get for my board not to obtain any more scratches?

it only means that you're riding too hard so that's what normally happens! the least u can do is 2 get a board with topsheet and durasurf bottom: these are tough & clear plastic sheets that cud cover ur board's graphics. or if u dont like that idea, perhaps u can buff the scratched part of your board.
