After my very long kiting lessons, i finally got everything correctly set up last week. I had a few good kitings but my kite starts to just go in circles to my left. & no matter how much i try to pull it to my right, it still keeps on going spiral. also when pulling my left and right breaks, it'd still barely stop. i want to know if this is common bec i dont see anything wrong w/ my kite. the only thing i notice would be the lines, they seem a little uneven with the handles. but still, i dont think that's such a big deal. right?

Check on the bridal lines carefully, as well as those lines where they meet the handles. it sounds like some lines have tangled together. It is simple to get someting looped around the knot where the kite's flying lines meet the harness.

A tangled inch can make a big difference in the performance of a kite, especially on your brakes. I once spent a long time trying to solve the problem on my kite, only to walk back at the handles and find out that the brake line got tangled around the knot.

I just knew that if there are too many wraps in the lines, it's not gonna be easy 2 overcome the friction, that no matter how strong u pull on the opposite direction, it wont follow. though this often happens to smaller kites due to their relative lack in pull.. but if it's a friction problem, the quality of ur lines really makes quite a difference!
