Extreme365.com received yesterday a note from the Pro Kiteboard Riders' Association regarding the cancellation of the said Canadian Kitesurfing event.
The note said: "It is with regret that we inform you that the 2007 PKRA World Cup Isles De La Madeleine, located in Quebec, Canada from August 31 through September 6, will not be held this year. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Canadian Government has decided not to provide funding for this year's event. The event organizers are hopeful that the tour stop will return to schedule next year.
