Kitesurfer, Badly Injured in Cumbrian Coast
A kitesurfer suffered serious head injuries when he crashed on a Cumbrian Beach last Monday. The 26-year-old man was travelling across the sand at Silecroft, near Millom, on a board with wheels when his sail was caught by a sudden gust of wind which lifted him approximately 40 meters in the air. Imperiled Kitesurfer Reaches Safety, Gets Cited
Kitesurfer Brian Ackerman was two miles out to sea alone when things went bad. Ackerman was on a recent solo trip from Point Sal to Vandenberg.
