The Adrenalin Rush Sports Australia Kiteboarding Classic will be hosted by the Mackay Kiteboarding Association from June 8-11, 2007 in Mackay, Queensland. The Classic will host a variety of unseen events in Australia, including Kite Boarder Cross and a Dash for Cash, as well as a Freestyle division.

Events include the following:

Kite Board X:

Kite Board X: This event will consist of a Set course using markers and obstacles. The riders must make their way around the course using skills of both downwind & upwind tacking as well as jumping a set obstacle as they go. This is a race run in heats of 4 and will be judged on the fastest time.

Freestyle: Using the flat water sections of the event location, the freestyle event will run in divisional heats and judged on a number of aspects of the riders ability.

Downwind Dash for cash: This event will involve all riders racing to a downwind mark. The basic idea is to get over the line first to score $$$.

Nomination cost: $75.00

In the case of light wind, we have plenty planned to keep us kicking on including a wake winch slider park, trampoline comps etc.
