International Media Attend World Kiteboarding Meet

Starting June 24, more than 25 international media will be in Dominican Republic to cover the World Kiteboarding Championship, turning the Atlantics coast town Cabarete into the sport’s capital during one week.
Journalists from Canada, Switzerland, England, Germany, the U.S., U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Holland, France and Australia will arrive to broadcast the events in Cabarete.
The publications SBC Kiteboarding, Kite World Magazine, National Geographic, Univision (Puerto Rico), Ocean Magazine, Maxim, Hooters, Rick Goddard (Surfer) and Gust Magazine have already confirmed their presence.
Photographers and camera operators will also come from Stance Magazine, Kiteboarding Magazine, Aus. Kiteboarding, Kites RU and Fuel TV.
The World Kiteboarding Championship will start tomorrow until July 1, 2007. registration is limited to 60 men and 24 women, including the trials. Priority will be given to riders with the most and best international experience. All riders including pre-qualified riders need to pre-register for the event.
