Hamptons Kite Festival Held in London
MONDAY, 29 OCTOBER 2007
A kite design competition for the children aiding the Prince’s Trust culminated at a kite-flying event on the grounds of Alexander Palace in London.
The Hamptons International-sponsored event featured flying demonstrations despite zero wind from best flyers and teams including Carl Robertshaw and Chris Goff. The affair also included a kite building workshop, which was facilitated by Kite Magic (The Midland Kite Flyers) for the participating children.
The Hamptons Company was able to sell over 500 kite kits, which raised a large amount of money for the Trust.
The winning kite won a holiday trip in Dubai for the whole family courtesy of Hamptons International.
