Teen Kite Surfer Bags Junior, Senior Titles |

Teen kite surfer Torrin Bright impressed judges and spectators alike. He bagged double titles at the recently concluded Canterbury championships held at Christchurch.
The 17-year old kite surfer marked a new record for becoming the first person to ever win both the junior and senior titles at the competition.

Young Man Injured in Kite Surfing Accident |

A 22-year old man was injured in a kite surfing accident at Tolaga Bay at the onset of New Year, according to the spokesperson of St. John Ambulance.
The spokesman reveals that a gust of wind blew the man off course, throwing him nearly 15 meters to the air before he fell to the sealed road surface.

The British Kite Surfing Association (BKSA) 2007 AGM is scheduled on January 19, 2008 at the Blackpool Light Craft Club at Southshore Blackpool, from 4 - 8 PM.
