Kite Surfing Event Raises £2,000 for Charity

A recently concluded kite surfing event was able to raise about ₤2,000 for RNLI and the NSPCC.
During the said event, kite surfers crossed the Isle of Man to Whitehaven. Some of the kite surfers who participated in the event include Sellafield workers Stuart Wood and Nick Elliot as well as Ireby’s Fraser Dooley.
Meanwhile, the group revealed that another kite surfing event will be held either in August or September this year. In this event, participants will have to cross about 80 miles, from Ireland to Whitehaven through the Isle of Man.
