IKO Kite Surfing Course on August 23

An International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) Kite Surfing Course will be held on August 23-24. The course will be conducted at the Barassie Beach, Troon, Scotland, a long stretch of water suitable for water activities like kite surfing, wind surfing, and jet skiing.

The course will provide beginners with the basics of kite surfing in the fastest way possible. After this course, participants will be well on their way to be IKO level 3 certified, considered as the driver's license in the world of kite surfing.

The course costs £250. This includes wetsuit, equipment, and instructor's fee. The course will have a 1:4 instructor-student ratio, covering topics such as setting up, determining wind direction, launching, and self-rescue techniques.
